A Target Is A Reminder Of Ones Progress - 1386 Words

A target is something that can act as a reminder of ones progress. If a target cannot be used to monitor someones progress, then it has defeated its purpose. For the first target of goal 7,2 it is extremely difficult to measure the degree at which this can be achieved therefore resulting in the inability to monitor the progress of the country trying to achieve this target. The main difficulty in measuring this target lies in the choice of diction used to present this idea. the word â€Å"affordable† is defined as something that is reasonably priced3. This shows that the degree of how affordable something is can be very subjective. Therefore, by measuring the monetary value of the investment that goes into the research and infrastructure of renewable energy, the positive externality that the target is intending to encourage can be measured.
